Ingredients
a. For the cake
All purpose flour - 213 gm
Baking powder - 1 tspn
Baking soda - 1/4 tspn
Salt - 1 tspn
Butter - 176gm or 3/4 cup (Room temp)
White granulated sugar - 1cup or 200 gm
Egg whites - 3
Vanilla extract - 2 tspn
Milk - 120mL or 1/2 cup
Greek yogurt - 120mL or 1/2 cup
Sprinkles - 1/2 cup
b. For frosting
Butter - 500 gm
Condensed milk - 1 can
Vanilla - 2 tspn
Salt - 1/4 tspn
Instructions
a. For the Cake
Preheat oven to 350F. Prep 3 6-inch round cake pans
Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder & salt.
Mix together the milk, Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
Cream butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and fluffy.
Add egg whites one at a time, mixing thoroughly between each addition.
Add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk-yogurt mixture.
Mix just until fully combined.
Bake at 350F for 30-35min or until a skewer inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
b. For the frosting
Cream the butter in the bowl of a stand mixture for about 8-10min.
Gradually add condensed milk while mixing.
Add salt and vanilla extract.
